What are the different meanings of the authorization modes on the RFID tags

  • There are 3 modes:
    -LOCAL
    -NETWORK
    -ROAMING

  1. LOCAL

    1. Adding a local RFID tag means this 'customer' will only have access to the selected charge sites. This is also usefull if you want to whitelabel a public charging pass on your own local charger. Charge sessions with the local authorization mode will not be charged at the end of the month! Those are meant for local usage and are not accounted for.

  2. NETWORK

    1. The 'customer' with network selected will have access to the whole Wattify network for charging, at any other charging site even not belonging to the respective company this user is part of. Off course those sessions will be charged at the end of the month since you might be charging with a total stranger who needs to be paid for his electricty. The price is always the price set by the charge site owner, note that the price might be completely different of your own charge site price setting.

  3. ROAMING

    1. This mode should not really be used, it is the opposite of whitelisting, meaning we will definitely look for a roaming partner to charge this too, resulting anyhow in a higher charging price since the eMSP will be the middle man here.
